Winless in Group A: Nepal's Table Tennis team bows out to Macau

Nepal's women's table tennis team Evana Thapa, Yonggi Poudel and Nabita Shrestha exited the team event at the 20th Asian Games after losing 3-1 to Macau on Monday.

This loss was followed by a 3-0 defeat to China the day before in Group A.

With the team event now over for Nepal, the same three players shift their focus to the individual singles competition, where they'll get a fresh, separate shot at the tournament.

This continues a difficult recent history for Nepal in Asian Games team table tennis at the 2022 Hangzhou Games, Nepal's women finished bottom of their group (Group F, alongside India and Singapore) without a single match win, losing every game 0-3.
