The Cricket Association of Nepal officially released the full schedule for NPL Season 3 on Saturday.
It is now confirmed that the tournament will run October 26 to November 21 at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
The opening match pitting defending champions Lumbini Lions against two-time finalists Sudurpaschim Royals.
Beyond the schedule itself, CAN is now weighing whether to introduce the Decision Review System (DRS) for the first time in NPL history, a technology upgrade that would mark a genuine step up in the tournament's production standards as it enters its third, most starstudded season yet.
Overseas signings have significantly raised this season's profile: alongside David Warner's headline move to Kathmandu Gurkhas (confirmed September 15), the tournament has also locked in Jimmy Neesham (Janakpur Bolts), Shakib Al Hasan, Sikandar Raza, Charith Asalanka, and former Indian Test player KS Bharat, also joining Kathmandu.
The 27-day tournament features all eight returning franchises: Lumbini Lions, Sudurpaschim Royals, Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Karnali Yaks, Janakpur Bolts, Pokhara Avengers and Kathmandu Gorkhas.
